How do I know if I have TMS?
The symptoms of TMS / Mindbody Syndrome can vary from person to person, but there are some common signs and symptoms to look out for:
-
Chronic pain: TMS often causes persistent pain that does not have a clear physical cause and is not relieved by conventional medical treatments.
-
Worsening symptoms under stress: The pain associated with TMS may worsen during periods of emotional or physical stress.
-
Multiple sites of pain: TMS can cause pain in different areas of the body, including the back, neck, shoulders, hips, and legs.
-
Other physical symptoms: In addition to pain, TMS may also cause other physical symptoms such as fatigue, headaches, or digestive problems.
-
Normal medical tests: If you have undergone various medical tests, such as X-rays or MRIs, and they have not revealed any significant abnormalities or structural problems, TMS may be a possible diagnosis.
